Order by 2pm Thursday 19th December for guaranteed dispatch in time for Christmas

During the current events we would like to reassure everyone about our service and the measures we are taking during these times.

We remain open to all orders. Some further information about our processes can be found below. We are of course following the gov.uk guidance for business.

Please allow a few extra days for delivery during this time.

Our workspace

We operate in a clean working environment to keep the garments clean during the print process. As a result, our production team already take care to clean their machines and workspace several times throughout their shifts. These cleaning routines will continue as usual.

In addition, we are implementing extra hand washing routines throughout the day to increase the cleanliness of the facility.

Our production facility is non-public facing so only receives deliveries and collections.

We are a local employer, with the majority of staff living within an easy walking distance of the facility.

Our production

Due to the size of the operation, our facilities have always been set up to allow a minimum of 2m between each member of staff throughout the entire working day.

Due to the messy nature of the inks we always have protective gloves freely available for staff throughout the facility.

As part of the curing process, all garments pass through an oven for 7 - 10 mins at 160’C before they are packed. This ensures the inks are wash safe but also has the added advantage of sterilising the garments of any potential contamination before being sent to you.

Our staff

At Streetshirts the team are one extended family. Our priority is to keep our staff healthy and to keep the orders going out to our customers.

We are fully following all government advice about barrier gestures (hand washing) and social distancing.

We are offering quibble-free leave from anyone who needs to self isolate, which gives them and their colleagues reassurance to take the necessary action to protect everybody.

We are offering remote working options for our customer service / sales / marketing team.

Flexible working hours are available for those who need them which allows our staff to work around family care or any other issues which may arise.

Staff can choose to work when they want: for example, if a staff member wants to work out of hours to reduce contact or for any other reason, they can choose their hours. This is already an option to our staff, but we are increasing our flexibility to change work patterns at short notice.

We are in discussions regarding childcare options, should the schools close. We aim to have no staff member without childcare and therefore we will have the flexibility to accommodate any future changes.

Deliveries to you

The sterilised garments are packed by a member of our team wearing gloves, and then sealed in a package for delivery on to you.

The government advice is that COVID-19 cannot be caught from parcels and other deliveries. Click here for the advice from Royal Mail on receiving parcels.
