Designer of the moment...the unstoppable rise of Nicholas Kirkwood.

Kirkwood's shoe designs have been described as none other than show-stopping works of art...adored by the A-list and every fashionista who knows her Jimmy Choo's from her Manolo Blahnik's.  So bold are his creations and so unlike any other designer on the shoe front, his foot art is instantly recognisable.  Rodarte, Posen, Pugh and Chloe are amongst the hot brands who have requested the assistance of this season's shoe hottie in order to finish their runway looks.  It's obvious when encountered by one of this designers fancy footwear creations, that every detail has been perfectly executed in order to create a beautiful masterpiece.  From the pearl beading featured on the sole of one heel to the complex lace that wraps itself around the buckles of another, Kirkwood certainly has eye for design.  It's no wonder he has already scooped the British Fashion Award for 'Emerging Talent Accessories'.

So far we have only had the pleasure of viewing the designer's toppling skyscraper heels, but apparently next season is all about the 'bad ass' flats...we can't wait to see what theatrical creations are in store!

Make a fashionable splash this spring in none other than Prada's take on the wellington boot!

Prada can certainly make anything chic and this time the brand has certainly outdone itself.  Yes that's right, wellington boots are now marching down the catwalk.  Teamed with belted tunics, plunging v-neck shifts and trench coats...this look is perfect for spring.  The S/S 09 show oozed a forties style, mussed up dos and accented eyes were a key feature on the runway.  It was country living Prada style, with rich woven coats and heavy embellished fabrics.

We can't predict the ever changing weather so why not combat it in style.  Whether you choose thigh-high waders or red knee-highs, this trend is both practical and now also cool.

London's innovators and powerplayers fight it out on the catwalk.

Going head to head on the runway, established heavyweights including Paul Smith and The House Of Holland, delighted the style savvy crowd at this year's fashion extravaganza.  Collaborations showcased layed back military styling, a mish-mash of colourful knitwear with an added contrast of some very sharp suits.  Luella, now a major player in the fashion world, introduced a blend of pretty punk whilst Ossie Clark revisited the iconic seventies.  Their contenders certainly put up a fight, Mario Schwab, Giles, Louise Golden and Rosksanda Ilinic put on a fashion feast, reminding us that London certainly does style well.  Erdam lived up to it's name by producing a range of delicate floral frocks in perfectly sculptured shapes.  The show was as always, a big hit with all the fashionistas that attended.

A variation of last season's gold emerged from Paul Smith's creations, oozing elements of old English elegance.  As you can see Gorgeous rose-print with a poetic twist dominated the stage at Erdam.  Stunning silk dresses were expertly embroidered with springs garden flowers, either delicately running across garments or completely covering blue silks and plum backgrounds.  Feeling romantic...click on a link to steal this designer's desirable style.

London Fashion Week's latest brings you Twenty8Twelve's first ever catwalk show!

Sienna Miller and her designer sister stole the show at London fashion week, their new range included everything from pretty day dresses to sparkly evening wear.  The collection oozed a 'vintage feel' and was a masterclass in how to channel the fashionable duo's London look.  With sheer paneled bodycon dresses and rock tees complete with shoulder pads, the collaborations ticked all the right boxes for this season hottest trends.

The new range went down a storm, good friends, family and every budding fashionista crowded the runway showing a standing ovation to the must-have outfits.  Kate Moss, Matthew Williamson, Alexa Chung and Jo Wood were just a few of the famous faces at the event.

The new 'it' jacket...a trend that certainly deserves some admiration!

Military jackets have had a makeover...the admiral 'it' jacket is most definitely a must-have item this season.  Balmain and Phillip Lim were loving this look on the catwalk with denim and metallic creations working the runway and fashionistas are certainly going mad for this hot trend.  Misha Barton, Beyonce and Erin Wasson have already snapped up a cute military style jacket each.  Before you follow in their footsteps, be sure to opt for vintage, the new 'it' jacket should look like you purchased it from a museum rather than a boutique.

Team with a distressed tee and skinnies for a toned down look that won't take the emphasis off your new buy.  Details such as gold thread, loops, braids and cord fastening are a must!

The rain-drenched British countryside has clearly inspired Christopher Bailey’s new collection.

Whilst we eagerly await the May flowers amidst the April showers, you’ll be happy to know we can linger in style.  Burberry Prorsum intends to keep us fashionable prepared for whatever the English weather throws our way.  So come rain or shine, be sure to invest in the famous trench.  In a range of edgy prints, and dip-dyed colors, the new look is surely the most elegant way to keep you snug…the collection may even have you singing in the rain!

Bailey has always manages to take the famous Burberry trench and make it fashionable for now, and this seasons no different!  It’s the same Burberry girl; she’s just rocking a bit more!  This season let loose zipped padded anoraks, folded collars, metallic look detail and rich floral and leaf prints.  Prepare yourself for autumn with one of these Bailey enthused designs, click on your favorite and add some inspiration of your own.

Valentino’s haute couture handbag, this season’s must have statement accessory.

Valentino’s exquisite handbags can only be described as fashion masterpieces.  Embellished with vividly colored feathers, statement jewels, OTT flower designs and python print; the bags are works of art.  At a price of £3,330, it’s certainly an element to be cherished, enjoyed and adored.  We know if we were lucky enough to have one of the gorgeous creations in our possession, it would become permanent arm candy.  With its statement look, you just know it will be an addition to every outfit.  The shopping couture bag is part of a ten-style collection which he Italian house has dubbed a ‘Designer Decalogue’.  The bags are the creations of Valentino’s accessories team, Pier Paola Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri.

The concept of the Shopping Couture bag is to pair the house’s considerable skill for artisan embellishment with the everyday practicality of a tote.  I’m not quite sure the look would work when embarking on the weekly shop, but we’d still love one!  In the mean time, click on a link and add your own features to any style tee.

Fashion reaction…a work of contemporary art but can we really hit the high street in the trend of the moment?

It seems fashion has been taken to a contemporary new level but whilst these new styles are exciting to watch parade down the catwalk, could we really wear them?  Models dressed in Hussein Chalayan’s latest creations appeared to have stepped out from another world.  They stormed the catwalk to the piercing sound of breaking glass.  Moulded latex and figure hugging attire appeared to be frozen in time, complete with retro arty images of crushed cars.  This designer is certainly not afraid to stray from the norm.

Pagoda shoulders, billowing sleeves, tubular pleating and origami folds do seem a little more of an art project than a style solution.  Surprisingly capturing live anxieties of a scary moment has actually become a wearable fashion.  If you're not so sure, dress down with jeans and you're sure to unveil a true fashion statement.

Modern, straight or peg-leg, whatever your style, reach for the bleach.

Lessons in light-wash are top on our style agenda this season with the eighties vibe proving to be a hot look.  This trend works especially well with the petite figure, so if you’re planning on rocking out eighties style, be sure to take a few style notes...remember faded pockets suit boyish figures best and an all over color flatters any shape.  Whether you work it in skinny, flared or straight legged, be sure to finish this fresh trend with an eighties inspired tee, a cute blazer and chunky platforms!  If you’re feeling brave or fancy a more casual take on this fashion, rip it up!  The catwalk showed distressed denim left, right and centre.  If you’re sick of pretty, girly dresses, toughen up your style with a few ripped rules.

Balmain takes denim to a new level with these uber-glam creations showcased on the Paris runways.  The models stormed the catwalk in acid denim, teamed with a vest and embellished blazer, now that’s denimology!

Floral, patent, feminine or punk…the boots are back!

The footwear favored by us in our teenage years is back and it seems to be the must-have boot of 2009.  Agness Deyn has been seen in not one, but several different colors of the funky footwear.   Other celebs including Peaches Geldof and Chloe Sevigney are storming the streets in their choice of DMs.  At first the thought of going back to the moody teenage look would be a step in the wrong direction, but this top trend gets a grown-up twist when teamed with feminine dresses and quirky accessories.  My personal favorites are the cute petal print ankle style for day and the heeled patent classics for night.

Take style notes from Daisy Lowe and team a pair of show-stopping DM's with jeans, a cute t-shirt and a feminine knit.  With a range of popping neon colours and quirky designs, theres certainly a pair to suit all.
