Steal their style…what the stars are wearing

Katie White, the ting tings lead singer, has a scruffy yet feminine look going on.  Taking style notes from the likes of Karen O and Debbie Harry, she creates a quirky cool mixed-up look.  The singer opts to throw several trends together even if that means teaming a pretty dress with baseball boots.

Why not mix-up your own tshirt at streetshirts, taking elements from Miss White of course.  Click on a link and copy our old school rollerblade tee or mess around with other elements and create your own!

S/S 09 fights back against winter’s sea of black!

Neon bright and acid colours burst onto the summer catwalks, so bright it hurts our eyes!  Luella Bartley brought psychedelic Sunday best to the runway, in a shade of dashing purple and vivid orange.  It’s an eye catching, graphic look that will create maximum impact in the form of hard-edged noughties neon.

Check out Streetshirts's range of vivid coloured tshirts, get creative with brighter than bright flex, neon and pearl!  So whether you shine in shocking pink or glow in glitter, remember to be on trend for S/S 09, brighter is most certainly better!

Black on white…be sure to embrace this season’s cool contrast trend

This season has been a contrast of hard-edged looks and tailored shapes, so what better way to accentuate the trend, than with key monochrome detail.  Think black lace, playful bows and sophisticated pattern.  The A-list is going crazy for this trend, so make sure you follow in their fashion footsteps.  Team punky with smart casual for a quirky twist, a la Zoe Kravitz, who toughens up a sweet dress with killer boots and a quirky cap.  If you prefer the sophisticated ensemble copy Gwyneth Paltrow and go for a demure lace number.

Click on a tshirt, steal their style, and add your twist to a trend thats set to stay high in the style stakes!

Get creative this St Andrews Day

Whether you’re a born and bred Scot or an ardent ‘Scotophile’, get creative and wear your patriotism with pride this St Andrew’s Day with a little help from Streetshirts.co.uk. Ho Ho Ho…Verhoevan puts her stamp on this year’s Christmas greetings.

Julie Verhoevan, a diligent fashion associate has made sure to put her stamp on this year’s seasonal greetings, with exclusive card designs.  Created for the Royal College of Art, the festive creations feature elements of broken baubles, glitter and candles, along with a touch of the designer’s signature style.   Entitled ‘ho ho ho’ each card shows a detailed illustration of a woman’s face.  The best bit, all funds raised will go to students of the RCA.

Now don’t we just love a creative cause?  Have a go at making your own Christmas tree card designs at Streetshirts or even put a personal message on a tshirt and get sending festively inspired greetings to all your friends!

First red and now...in the pink!

Barbie, neon, bubblegum and every shade between…pink is set to get hotter and looks to be the color of spring.  It might seem a dramatic transition from the darkness of Goth-glam, but like it or not, think pink and you’ll stay ahead in the style stakes!  It’s almost as if fashion is fighting back against the winter sea of black.  Neon-brights and acid colors are set to burst onto the summer/spring catwalks.

Whatever your shade, express it on a tshirt...its a trend that pops, perfect for brightening up any dull day!
