Fuchsia-pink platforms, slinky jerseys and eye-popping brights have been cropping up left, right and centre on the catwalk.  Mix up colors and team bold prints with soft hues.  Fall in love with full-on neon brights in utility fabrics and take this seasons beatbox styling to town.  This hot trend certainly speaks for its self, the only asset required to wear is attitude.  With platforms the size of small buildings, we’re a little worried a confident strut may be out of the question but we’ll certainly give it a go!   

The footwear favored by us in our teenage years is back and it seems to be the must-have boot of 2009.  Agness Deyn has been seen in not one, but several different colors of the funky footwear.   Other celebs including Peaches Geldof and Chloe Sevigney are storming the streets in their choice of DMs.  At first the thought of going back to the moody teenage look would be a step in the wrong direction, but this top trend gets a grown-up twist when teamed with feminine dresses and quirky accessories.  My personal favorites are the cute petal print ankle style for day and the heeled patent classics for night. 

The much loved, must-have shades are soon to be re-launched!  The eighties favorite is to under go a style makeover and will be available in a range of flashy colors.  To celebrate the launch of iconic Clubmasters, up and coming New York bands will be performing tunes from the fifties and sixties.  If you can’t make it to the Big Apple, don’t stay in the shade to this trend, invest in one of these statement t-shirts.  Choose your very own jazzy color, set to be a festival staple come the summer!

When we hear the name Stephen Sprouse, images of neon glowing colors and graffiti spring to mind…a mixture of sixties pop and seventies punk.  His signature style adopts urban elements adorning luxe fabrics.

Neon bright and acid colours burst onto the summer catwalks, so bright it hurts our eyes!  Luella Bartley brought psychedelic Sunday best to the runway, in a shade of dashing purple and vivid orange.  It’s an eye catching, graphic look that will create maximum impact in the form of hard-edged noughties neon. 

Barbie, neon, bubblegum and every shade between…pink is set to get hotter and looks to be the color of spring.  It might seem a dramatic transition from the darkness of Goth-glam, but like it or not, think pink and you’ll stay ahead in the style stakes!  It’s almost as if fashion is fighting back against the winter sea of black.  Neon-brights and acid colors are set to burst onto the summer/spring catwalks.
