Going head to head on the runway, established heavyweights including Paul Smith and The House Of Holland, delighted the style savvy crowd at this year's fashion extravaganza. Collaborations showcased layed back military styling, a mish-mash of colourful knitwear with an added contrast of some very sharp suits. Luella, now a major player in the fashion world, introduced a blend of pretty punk whilst Ossie Clark revisited the iconic seventies. Their contenders certainly put up a fight, Mario Schwab, Giles, Louise Golden and Rosksanda Ilinic put on a fashion feast, reminding us that London certainly does style well. Erdam lived up to it's name by producing a range of delicate floral frocks in perfectly sculptured shapes. The show was as always, a big hit with all the fashionistas that attended.
A variation of last season's gold emerged from Paul Smith's creations, oozing elements of old English elegance. As you can see Gorgeous rose-print with a poetic twist dominated the stage at Erdam. Stunning silk dresses were expertly embroidered with springs garden flowers, either delicately running across garments or completely covering blue silks and plum backgrounds.
