Steal their style…what the stars are wearing

Katie White, the ting tings lead singer, has a scruffy yet feminine look going on.  Taking style notes from the likes of Karen O and Debbie Harry, she creates a quirky cool mixed-up look.  The singer opts to throw several trends together even if that means teaming a pretty dress with baseball boots.

Why not mix-up your own tshirt at streetshirts, taking elements from Miss White of course.  Click on a link and copy our old school rollerblade tee or mess around with other elements and create your own!

Man verses nature…S/S 09 takes ethnic inspiration to the catwalk.

From the Wild West to tribal inspired accessories, the S/S 09 catwalks were filled with earthy embellishments of every kind!  Think J P Gaultier in the 90’s, and cue bone details on both necklines and necklaces, polished stones embedding multi-strap leather belts and raffia details adorning heels.

Nature has implemented a contemporary quirky edge.  Models took the catwalk by storm, weighed down by an abundance of OTT embellished neckwear and bold African inspired cuffs.  Click on a t-shirt and create your very own ethnic enthused look, fresh from next season’s catwalk!

S/S 09 fights back against winter’s sea of black!

Neon bright and acid colours burst onto the summer catwalks, so bright it hurts our eyes!  Luella Bartley brought psychedelic Sunday best to the runway, in a shade of dashing purple and vivid orange.  It’s an eye catching, graphic look that will create maximum impact in the form of hard-edged noughties neon.

Check out Streetshirts's range of vivid coloured tshirts, get creative with brighter than bright flex, neon and pearl!  So whether you shine in shocking pink or glow in glitter, remember to be on trend for S/S 09, brighter is most certainly better!

Black on white…be sure to embrace this season’s cool contrast trend

This season has been a contrast of hard-edged looks and tailored shapes, so what better way to accentuate the trend, than with key monochrome detail.  Think black lace, playful bows and sophisticated pattern.  The A-list is going crazy for this trend, so make sure you follow in their fashion footsteps.  Team punky with smart casual for a quirky twist, a la Zoe Kravitz, who toughens up a sweet dress with killer boots and a quirky cap.  If you prefer the sophisticated ensemble copy Gwyneth Paltrow and go for a demure lace number.

Click on a tshirt, steal their style, and add your twist to a trend thats set to stay high in the style stakes!
